
Elks skin Panthers …

Willows — Elk Creek Varsity volleyball played the game of their season last night in Honkers gym.
Division VI playoffs started last Tuesday night, Nov. 6, with Elk Creek ranked third in the division, having a bye. Maxwell, ranked sixth, defeated Loyalton, ranked 11th, Nov. 6, enabling the Lady Panthers to face Elk Creek Nov. 13.
The match went to four games, with the Lady Elks winning the first two matches, 25-23, and 25-17. The third game went to the Lady Panthers, 11-25. The fourth game was won by the Elks with a victory of 25-11.
The Lady Elks continue up the playoff bracket, and look to Thursday as their next playoff game ensues. The location of this game and who they play is up to Surprise Valley, ranked seventh, and Bishop Quinn, ranked second in the division, who also played Nov. 13.
